Yesterday, Ethereum already overtook Litecoin as the 3rd largest crypto in terms of market capitalization. Today, it has taken 2nd spot replacing Ripple.
Its trading volume has been over $10 million in the past 24 hours, which is 8 times larger than the trading volume of Litecoin and more than 30 times larger than Ripple’s trading volume.
It’s hard to predict whether Ethereum is able to maintain its second spot today due to its highly volatile price changes. Time will tell…

I remember a Cryptocurrency named Doge coin. Currency based off a meme doesn;t seem like it would have taken off unlike Ethereum.
Haha, yes. Given the fact that it is based off a meme and not as innovative as some other Crypto’s, it is exceptionally successful still. It has claimed its own place among other Cryptocurrencies. 😀
